I am currently living abroad. If you live anywhere outside of the U.S., the measurement system is metric, not standard. I purchased this set and the matching measuring cups, because they are labeled with both the metric and standard measurements. The spoons (and cups) are thick and durable. The colors are exactly as in the picture (not too "loud"). I am satisfied with the product.
