Serrated edges on both sides of the spoon make it so easy to remove each section of grapfruit. When I wanted a second set last year, I couldn't find them in stores. Bought several other brands, but none could compare. The ones with only one serrated edge are completely worthless. Finally found these Norpro spoons on Amazon and they just as wonderful as the first set. Using these spoons to eat our grapefruit, breakfast is no longer a frustrating experience! This review is from: GRAPEFRUIT SPOONS SET OF 4 (Kitchen) My daughter mentioned that she loved grapefruit but didn't like the preparation involved.I asked what preperation? She said cutting around the top of the grapefruit half and into each segment of the fruit. After I stopped laughing I mollified her (somewhat) and ,after she left, I promptly got on line to, where else, Amazon and found these spoons. They were just what I wanted and my daughter has a neat stocking stuffer for Christmas!
