I'm eating grapefruit as I write this review.

There were less expensive grapefruit spoons available, but I chose this one because it looked like it would go well with my other flatware. Because I have young grandchildren, I also liked the idea of the serrated edges not being too sharp.

I'm very pleased on both the above points. Additionally, it has a nice weight, not too heavy, not too light, and fits my hand comfortably.

Love that ruby red grapefruit, and this spoon makes it easy to enjoy.

We've enjoyed grapefruit from a friend's tree for months, but a few of our ancient grapefruit spoons were missing... when I found out the grapefruit growers had NO spoons I went on a hunt! Bought 3 sets of four WMF Bistro grapefruit spoons based on feedback from previous Amazon buyers. The balance is terrific, the fine serration really works. I also use these for removing seeds from hot peppers... just slice lengthwise and scoop out seeds and membrane with one swipe... no firey fingers.

These are relatively inexpensive grapefruit spoons. The edges are not as serrated as some of the current ones that I have, so I didn't think they would be as useful. However, they work great and you don't even have to worry about cutting yourself on the edges of the spoon. They look nice and feel very well made. I'd suggest these spoons to everyone.

I was looking for a set of decent grapefruit spoons for everyday use. I had read reviews on some of the other spoons here on Amazon that said some types can be too thin or cheap feeling, others were too sharp and uncomfortable. Because of the lower price, I chose this 4 pack of Norpro spoons and found them to be just what I needed and even better than I expected.

They have a simple, sleek design that is comfortable and easy to hold - they're a nice weight. They do their job freeing the grapefruit sections from the peel easily, and aren't going to hurt your lips unless you're being careless. And the spoon bowl is a good size for scooping bite-sized portions, unlike more narrow styles. They look nice and blend with my other flatware. I liked them a lot.

To anyone looking for an inexpensive but quality grapefruit spoon set, I would recommend these.

The photo originally shown was different and a set that I had previously ordered and liked. The very light weight and poor quality set was substituted. I immediately requested the correct product with a quick reply and apology with the promise of the correct set was being shipped. Nothing has arrived and no further response has been received from follow up e-mails. (They have since changed the photo to show the lesser quality product!)

These spoons may help to remove the grapefruit sections a little easier, but you can't eat with them as the serrated edge is very rough on your mouth. I was looking for a spoon I could use thru out the eating experience and these are not at all like I wanted.

These spoons are beautiful, they are colorful and soft. They are nicely shaped and fit well in the hand. The only problem is that they stain. I used them to feed pureed carrots to my baby, and the tip is stained orange on two of my spoons. At five bucks a piece, they shouldn't stain.

Perfect for new solid starter. Soft silicone is gentle to baby's mouth and gum. I even scrap food around my daughter's mouth with spoon (of course gently) and it doesn't irritate her skin.

I got lots of different types of spoons as gifts, but bought these Beaba spoons anyway. They are the best!

I started using these spoons when my son started solids at 5 months. So easy for him to eat- I love the shape. We have very little mess, as it is easy to scrape his face clean. I love that the handle has some weight to it and is chunky enough for my little guy to grab. He pretends to feed himself, chewing on the spoon (it really is a good consistency for teething too!).

I rinse immediately to avoid staining, and haven't noticed any stains yet. Then again, we haven't gotten to carrots and blueberries yet. :-) Other orange foods such as squash and sweet potatoes have been fine when rinsed. (EDITED: We do have stains from orange foods now. I use the orange spoon for those foods, and it isn't as noticeable. It looks kinda like reflection off the orange in the spoon, although I'm sure it will get worse with more use.)
